What is a murder party?
A crime has been committed at Quintin Castle… The finest detectives are assembled in teams to try and understand who might have committed it, with what weapon, at what time, for what reasons… For more than 2 hours, you’ll be looking for clues, poring over investigation reports, examining the list of suspects, and analysing the crime scene to solve the mystery.
For the past 7 years, château de Quintin offers murder parties in partnership with Jean Ludik, giving you the chance to visit the castle while having fun.
Which scenario is played?
We offer 4 different scenarios each year. After “l’Affaire La Famille” in the spring, and “La Guilde” played out over the summer, from October 2024 we’re offering “l’affaire Paula Rultime” in the furnished apartments of the 18th-century château.

A single fee of €75 per team, whatever your number in the team (between 2 and 6, or even 7 players, but not 8!). If there are more than 7 of you, you can book 2, 3 or even 4 teams, but no more per session.
For packages including an aperitif and dinner, you will be asked to pay a supplement of €22 (incl. VAT) per person.
Payment must be made in advance. Once you have completed the registration form, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with the payment details (secure online payment, bank transfer or cheque).
This game is primarily aimed at adults, but it has been extended to children from 10 years old. Below this age group, the game is not recommended.
We do not enter teams made up entirely of teenagers: we require at least one adult to be in the team.
In July and August, the game takes place in the grounds of the château, to make the most of the fine summer evenings, but throughout the rest of the year, the clues are to be found indoors in the furnished flats of the 18th-century château.
Some dates are offered ‘with aperitif dinner’. This is served at each table from the moment the game is launched until the end of the evening. It consists of sweet and savoury items that are easy to eat while still concentrating on the game. A buffet of soft drinks (coke, orange juice, water) and red and white wines is available, as well as self-service tea/tea/coffee. We work in part with Les Traiteurs Briochins. On all other dates, you can take advantage of the catering on offer in Quintin, before or after your game session (times permitting).
No disguises to bring, no scripts to learn, no equipment to bring! We’ll take care of everything!
Just bring warm clothes or rain gear, depending on the weather.
