“From 4 to 6 April, more than fifteen different arts and crafts will be on show at Château de Quintin. Passionate professionals who are keen to pass on their skills will be on hand to demonstrate their know-how, sometimes offering introductory courses, showing their working tools and explaining the various stages of production, from the raw material to the finished product. They’ll also be talking about their training and the history of their techniques, and sharing their expertise with young and old alike.
The Jean Monnet vocational school in Quintin, which specialises in stonemasonry, will also be on hand. The association l’Outil en Main will be represented by a leatherworker. Tours of the château (at an additional cost) will round off the programme.
Food, refreshments and crêpes will be available on site.
Friday is reserved for schools (registration required).
