Murder party: life-size detective investigations<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

There’s been a murder at Quintin Castle… In teams of detectives, you’ll set off in search of clues in the castle grounds to find the culprit, the weapon, the motive and the time of the crime. An original and convivial evening to discover Quintin Castle in a different way!<\/p>\n

We offer 4 different scenarios each year. After the “Affaire La Famille” in the spring, from early July we’re offering “l’affaire la Guilde” all summer long in the open air. <\/p>\n

What’s hidden in cupboards, chest drawers and locked chests? Exclusively for you, Solange takes hold of the keys and reveals the castle’s hidden treasures.<\/p>\n

In a large trunk, each child chooses a costume and becomes, for the duration of the visit, Anne of Brittany, a knight or a musketeer. Then it’s off on a tour full of wonder! Room by room, Solange takes you on a journey of discovery of what is usually invisible. Your heart will beat and your eyes will widen as her impressive set of keys turns in the locks… Keep your ears open as Solange tells you all about the history of these objects. For example, among the ch\u00e2teau’s archives are several letters patent bearing the signatures of several great French kings, including that of Louis XIV, which will be revealed to you for the first time. The last treasure hidden in the reception room is a delicious snack to share!<\/p>\n

Since 2012, the Ateliers d’Art de France competition has been highlighting artistic vitality and the excellence of skills by bringing to light highly talented craft professionals in our regions. Candidates have the opportunity to enter a creative or heritage work.<\/p>\n

Once again this year, the Ch\u00e2teau de Quintin will host the Ateliers d’Art de France competition exhibition for the Brittany region from Tuesday 16 April to Sunday 7 July 2024, showcasing the works of shortlisted candidates. <\/p>\n

From 16 April, come and discover the skills of these creative craftsmen and the winning work in the regional prize category. The works on display in the ch\u00e2teau’s interiors will interact with works from the past.<\/p>\n
